HUMBOLDT - The Saskatchewan Country Music Awards 2024 Group of the Year winners, Munro & Patrick, will be at the Humboldt Gallery on Saturday, Jan.11.
According to reviews, the dynamic duo of Heidi Munro and Scott Patrick command the stage with poignant originals and innovative renditions of beloved cover songs. Their performances epitomize the duo's exceptional vocal harmony and undeniable on-stage chemistry. With years of audience interaction and honing their songwriting skills, Heidi and Scott effortlessly engage crowds with their stories and banter, akin to a warm summer night's campfire.
Flavours of roots, soul, traditional country, rock, and jazz permeate throughout the songs that they create is said on their website. Lyrically the songs address the emotions of life-Love, loss, nostalgia, and imagination. Their debut album “Give Me Your Rain”, was voted the number six album in Saskatchewan, 2022, with a style reminiscent of Chris Stapleton, Emmy Lou Harris, but at times very Beth Hart, and Joe Cocker.
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased from the Museum or Gallery.
