TISDALE — The Tisdale Fire Department will be the new owners of a fire truck.
Brad Hvidston, Tisdale's chief administrative officer, said the fire truck is a 2025 Freightliner M2-106 Plus with a Rosenbauer NH 1050 IGPM PTO driven water pump system. It has a 1,000 gallon tank with a foam system included.
The truck cost $781,504 tax included and will replace a 1996 fire truck.
"It is almost identical to the one we are replacing as far as number of seats and capacity," Hvidston said. "The 1996 truck will be converted to a new rescue truck to be used at accident scenes and rescues (car accidents, snowmobile accidents, drowning, etc)."
The new fire truck will arrive in early 2025.
