According to RCMP, at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Feb. 11, they received a report that a man was banging on the door of a home on 6th Avenue East in Meadow Lake and yelling that someone was going to shoot him. A vehicle pulled up to the residence, a man got out and forced him into the vehicle.

About 10 minutes later, police got a call about an injured woman seeking help at a home on 2nd Street East in Meadow Lake. She had serious injuries, including three fingers cut off.

Five minutes later, police got a report of a second injured woman seeking help at a home on Flying Dust First Nation. She also had serious injuries and two fingers cut off one hand.

The two women were taken to the hospital.

During the police investigation, officers identified and located the vehicle on Flying Dust First Nation involved in the incident where a man was forced into the vehicle in Meadow Lake. Two people were arrested.

Chantal Roy is still wanted by police in connection to these incidents. She is described as five foot four, 130 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes. She has a butterfly tattoo on her right wrist and a mother holding a child tattoo on her left arm. Police say she could be in Meadow Lake.
