MELFORT — The City of Melfort is holding a glow skate at the Northern Lights Palace, where people can skate with glow sticks, and alongside party lights and music.
Jessica Yaworski, the Northern Lights Palace pool supervisor, said the purpose of the event is to give community members an additional activity to do.
“The arena is going to have dimmed lights and we’re going to have party lights going and glow sticks and lots of music,” Yaworski said. “It’s a fun thing to get involved in.”
The event will take place on March 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. Glow sticks will be supplied, although attendees are welcome to bring their own.
Admission is by monetary donation to the local KidSport chapter.
