DESCHAMBAULT LAKE - A teenage boy has been charged after the death of a dog in Deschambaut Lake.
Deschambault Lake RCMP say that on Jan. 9, they received a report of a male teen seriously injuring a dog. Officers located the dog deceased that day. As a result of further investigation, a male teen from Deschambault Lake was arrested at a residence in the community the same day.
A youth who cannot be identified per the Youth Criminal Justice Act has been charged with one count of causing death to an animal.
RCMP say they cannot provide more information about this incident as it may identify the youth involved.
