SASKATOON — Members of the Collision Analyst Unit continue to investigate a fatal collision that occurred Friday at Miller Ave. and 71st Street East.
Police were called to the scene at approximately 5:20 p.m., June 7. Upon arrival they found that a half-ton truck travelling north on Miller Ave. had collided with a gravel truck travelling east on 71st Street. The 47-year-old driver of the half-ton truck was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His family has been notified.
Traffic restrictions at the scene have since been lifted.
