Update: On Wednesday, Aug. 25, Prince Albert RCMP officers received a report of a deceased individual located in a rural area west of St. Louis.
Officers responded and located a deceased female.
An autopsy has been completed and the female has been identified as 28-year-old Crystal Castle. Her family has been notified.
Crystal had been reported missing to the Prince Albert Police Service and was last seen on Aug. 11 in Prince Albert, in a red Dodge Dakota truck near the Circle K convenience store on 28th Street East.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crime Unit South is leading the investigation into Crystal’s death, which is being treated as a homicide. There is no additional information that can be released about this investigation at this time.

On Wednesday, Aug. 25, shortly before noon, Prince Albert RCMP received a report of a deceased individual located in a rural area south of Prince Albert.
Officers immediately deployed to the area where they located the deceased individual. Officers secured the scene and began a sudden death investigation.
