ONION LAKE – There is a heavy police presence on Onion Lake Cree Nation (OLCN) as RCMP have an active ongoing investigation.
Someone who wished to remain anonymous told SASKTODAY.ca that police have cordoned off the landfill site on OLCN.
A spokesperson from Saskatchewan RCMP Media Relations in Regina wouldn’t confirm nor deny the location cordoned off was the landfill.
“There is an investigation ongoing there (OLCN)," confirmed the RCMP in an email. "We can’t release further details at this time but there is no concern for public safety."
