It was a busy three days in the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League and still the top half remains super tight with Lloydminster Meridian Twins staying perfect.
The Twins played in Meadow Lake Sunday and pulled out a 3-2 win
Meadow Lake lost another one-run game, as they were shut out by the Lloydminster Junior Redhawks 1-0 in the second game of the double header Sunday.
Also on Sunday, the Kindersley Raiders continued their climb into playoff contention with a 7-0 win over the St. Walburg Reds in Kindersley.
Friday night, the Beavers lost to the Twins 9-6 in North Battleford.
Thursday, Edam thumped St. Walburg 12-2 in St. Walburg.
The Unity Cardinals lost 4-2 to the Twins the same night.
The Wilkie Brewers beat Mervin 10-4 in Mervin. The Brewers' winning pitcher was Aaron Sittler and Nick Pernitsky hit a home run.
The final game to report on from Thursday was a 18-4 beating by the Border City Blue Jays of the Standard Hill Lakers.
Four games are on the schedule for Monday night with four more set for Tuesday.
