Police seize cocaine, fentanyl and illegal cigarettes in raid

KINDERSLEY - Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team (CRT) and Kindersley RCMP have charged two people following a drug-trafficking investigation.  

On Nov. 6, officers from the Prince Albert CRT and Kindersley Detachment executed a search warrant on a vehicle and at a residence on 8 Street W. in Kindersley.

During the search, officers located and seized approximately $30,000 in cash, 354 grams of cocaine, a small amount of fentanyl, 800 illegal cigarettes and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Officers located and arrested a man and woman away from the home.

As a result of investigation, a 41-year-old man and 46-year-old woman, both from Kindersley, have each been charged with: possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine; and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

They are scheduled to appear in Kindersley Provincial Court on Dec. 17.
