PRINCE ALBERT — Update: A pedestrian is deceased after a collision.
Original post: Prince Albert RCMP are on the scene of a serious collision on Highway 11 near the Highway 2 junction.
The incident was reported Sunday, and police say the investigation is still in its early stages. No additional details have been released at this time.
Sunday evening, RCMP said Highway 11 would closed for an undetermined amount of time, that detours were in place and motorists should expect delays in the area. They advised motorists to slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.
Drivers were encouraged to check the Highway Hotline for the latest updates on road closures. Monday morning, there were no closures or incidents reported in the area by Highway Hotline.
