SASKATOON - Five people are facing charges following a drug-trafficking investigation in Saskatoon.
Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit have concluded a drug-trafficking investigation with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, Crime Reduction Team, and Drug Unit.
On Feb. 19 at around 5:15 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the area of 22nd Street and Avenue P in Saskatoon as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation, resulting in the arrests of four people. A fifth person was taken into custody in the area of Junor Avenue and Makaroff Road. Later that evening, at around 7:30 p.m., a search warrant was executed at an address in the 1100 block of Hargreaves Way. The following evidentiary seizures were made by investigators;

As a result, two 32-year-old women, a 42-year-old woman, and two men, age 26 and 30, are facing a combined total of 27 drug trafficking- and weapons-related charges.
