SASKATOON - A man was arrested after reportedly wielding a knife in a bar, yesterday morning in Saskatoon.
At approximately 11 a.m., March 4, police patrol was dispatched to a bar in the 200 block of 21st Street East for a weapons call.
It was reported to police that a man entered the bar and made verbal threats to staff while holding a knife. He exited the bar shortly after the confrontation.
Upon arrival, patrol members located and arrested the male suspect outside the bar.
A knife was found and seized from his pocket before officers transported him to Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Detention.
A 36-year-old man is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and carry a concealed weapon.
