SASKATOON - Saskatoon police are investigating a stabbing and vehicle theft that occurred yesterday in the city.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., Jan.. 2, police were called to a convenience store in the 1500 block of 22nd Street East.
Upon arrival, they located a 43-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound.
Further investigation determined the victim and another male were driving away from the location when the victim suddenly stopped the Ford F 150, exited the vehicle, and sought assistance for his injury.
At the same time the suspect fled the scene in the vehicle. The truck was later located in the 700 block of Idylwyld Drive North.
