The new EP marks the first international release of songs previously available only in Japan through Dynastic Records following the success of the Cosmic Current documentary. This EP delves into new musical territory with lo-fi-inspired production and alternative song versions, offering an intimate and powerful journey through Ramayya's cultural roots. It honours his musical evolution while embracing a fresh sonic direction.

Ramayya’s acclaimed psych-pop and hypnotic album  reached the iTunes charts at number two and the electro-driven at number five. He also performed at the Anime Comic and Game Festival in Shanghai on Dec. 14 and 15, 2024, and in Mexico City on Jan. 18 and 19, 2025, with Akira Yamaoka and The Silent Hill Band.

The Pride of Saskatoon pays tribute to the 20th anniversary of the Cosmic Current documentary, a Gemini Award-winning film chronicling his family’s journey from their arrival to Canada to their return to India, where they came together to face his mother’s illness for the first time.

Ramayya said 1000 Years is a profoundly evocative love song that transcends time and tells the story of two souls destined to reincarnate for over a thousand years as part of their eternal search for one another.

“This hauntingly beautiful composition delves into themes of love, loss and cosmic connection, capturing the essence of two lovers eternally lost in the cosmos yet always yearning to reunite on the earthly plane. Love transcends time and space, binding souls in a dance that continues through eternity,” said Ramayya.

Blending traditional Indian instruments with modern electronic elements, 1000 Years creates a mesmerizing soundscape that immerses listeners on a lovers' spiritual journey across time.

Through atmospheric soundscapes and soulful lyrics, it encapsulates the emotional depth of love that endures beyond lifetimes. It invites the audience to reflect on mysteries of reincarnation and the power of soul connections.

Love Thy Brown Brother promises to be a captivating addition to Ramayya's work, inviting listeners on a sonic journey that bridges East and West, tradition and innovation.
