A Christmas message from Mayor Sharon Del Frari of Unity.

The Unity & Multiple 4-H Club were a part of the annual Winter Wonderland Parade.

This Christmas Season, whether you are on your own or surrounded by family and friends and no matter where you are, we can all enjoy the spirit of Christmas.

Everywhere we go, we see beautiful lights, hear the music of the season, and see the smiles of those shopping for the ones they love.

Santa Day and Winter Wonderland provided us the opportunity to share the magic of the season with our families and each other. Secret Santa and the Food Bank allow us to share the warmth of Christmas with those struggling in these times of high inflation.

From the volunteers with the Courtesy Car, Meals on Wheels, minor sports teams, dance, gymnastics, to our community groups such as the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Kin Club, along with those who show courtesy and compassion for others do so in stellar fashion. Your hearts are huge.

The children attending our schools are taught by staff who are invested in their futures and our community. Our churches share services of remembrance and provide fellowship, comfort, and solace.  We have access to excellent health care and those who provide this are part of our community. From daycare to long term care and everything in between, we are covered.

Many services are provided by the businesses of our community. Thanks to those who came before to set the building blocks for this town. The ebb and flow of our business community changes as life evolves. Unity has seen everything from locally sourced products to delicacies from across the globe. We look forward to taking in the changes and challenges to come.

Our world is one of peace and safety. It's important to pause each day and take stock of what we have. Thank you everyone for your presence in Unity.
