REGINA - Saskatchewan is receiving a visit from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Thursday.
Trudeau is in Regina for a full day of activities. He is scheduled to visit a local grocery store in the morning where he plans to highlight the grocery rebate in the 2023 budget.
Soon after, he is scheduled for an announcement on budget affordability measures.
At 3 p.m., Trudeau is to participate in a Budget 2023 town hall with students and community members.
Trudeau is not the only federal political leader in Saskatchewan on Thursday; NDP leader Jagmeet Singh is scheduled to be in Saskatoon today.
