REGINA - A man is facing charges following a drug trafficking investigation in Regina.
At approximately 6 p.m. on March 27, after a month-long drug trafficking investigation, the Regina Crime Reduction Team executed a search warrant in the 100 Block of Ottawa Street.
As a result, a 47-year-old Regina man was arrested.
Two other occupants of the house were arrested on unrelated arrest warrants.
During the search, police located:
• Approximately 594 grams of Cocaine;
• Approximately 908 grams of Fentanyl;
• One prohibited rifle;
• One restricted Handgun;
• Two non-restricted shotguns;
• One non-restricted rifle;
• Ammunition;
• Approximately $40,000 cash; and
• Jewelry valued at approximately $15,000.
The accused is charged with:
• 2 x Possession of controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
• Possess proceeds of crime over $5,000
• 2 x Possess a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
• 3 x Possess firearm knowing the possession was unauthorized
• Traffic in a scheduled substance
• Possess a prohibited weapon knowing the possession was unauthorized
• 3 x Possess firearm contrary to prohibition order
The accused made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on March 28 at 9:30 a.m.
