Rain forecast becomes freezing rain or snow

Whatever Monday brings, it's not likely to make for good driving conditions.

REGINA -  So much for the forecast of rain on Monday. Now it's likely to be freezing rain or snow. Either way, the road conditions will prove tricky.

Environment Canada forecast that Thursday would be the day for things to start warming up, and indeed they did. Friday was up to -4 with a wind chill of -10.

Saturday's forecast has been adjusted from 0 and lots of sun to -2 with a sun and clouds.

Sunday's forecast is still at plus 2, also a mix of sun and cloud.

Monday was supposed to be plus 1, with periods of rain. That forecast is now freezing rain or snow and a temperature of 0.

Tuesday and Wednesday following that are forecast at plus -1 and plus 1, respectively, with some clouds to interfere with sunny conditions.

At least we're done with the blowing snow and wind chills in the -40s ... for now anyway.
