SASKATOON - A youth is facing charges after allegedly deploying bear spray last night.
At approximately 8 p.m., April 15, patrol officers responded to a weapons complaint in the 300 block of Confederation Drive. Upon arrival, officers learned a group of youths had been involved in a physical altercation and bear spray was deployed.
A 17-year-old male youth matching the suspect description was located nearby and arrested. He is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon, and breaching court-imposed conditions.
