June 1, 1933 - March 10, 2013Ernie Wilkes, late of Forget, Sask. passed away in Regina, Sask. on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the age of 79 years.Ernie's memory will be forever cherished by his loving family: wife Laurette Wilkes of Forget; daughter Terri-Lee (Rodney) Lees of Arcola, Sask.; grandchildren, Ethan and Renessa Lees, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Emma Wilkes and siblings, Albert (Opal) Wilkes, Robert (Yvonne) Wilkes and Clara (John) Taillon.A celebration of Ernie's life was held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of La Salette R.C. Church, Forget, with Marcel Francais officiating. Interment took place at the Arcola Cemetery.Those so wishing may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Ernie's memory.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
