Jim was born on February 25, 1951 in St. Thomas, ON. He was the youngest of four children born to Vermont and Katherine (Campbell) Pow. Jim lost his battle with MSA (Multiple Systems Atrophy) on December 29, 2013 at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre in Regina, SK. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Vermont and Katherine, parents-in-law Leslie and Helen (Katona) Pinter; step mother-in-law Emma (Kovach) Pinter, and Aunts Buryl and Hazel Pow. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Linda of 39 years, married April 13, 1974, one son Andrew (Amber) Pow, and granddaughters Rian and Madison . His sisters and brother; Marion (Harold) Griffin, Alex (Pat) Pow, Margaret (Larry) Lunn. His sisters and brothers-in-law; Alex (Dolores) Pinter, Eileen (Morley) Biden, Betty (Bill) Thomas, Margaret (John) Ryding, Dick (Carole) Start; special niece and nephew Cara Biden and Kent Biden, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces. He also leaves our care-giving family at the Rehab Centre. It is because of you, especially Unit 3-3, that we were blessed and graced with Jim's amazing smile a little while longer.

Our heartfelt thank you's to our home family in the Kisbey surrounding district for all your loving strength and support during Jim's illness. Your gifts of visits, food, communications, donations, prayers, and concerns gave Jim an amazing shield of grace that endured him to the end.

Thank you Kisbey Rec. Centre and volunteers for the sustaining lunch, Kisbey United Church members, choir and Doug Curtis for taking the time to prepare Jim's last service.

Special thanks to Claudia, Kalvin, and employees of Nankivell Trucking and my Canada Post colleagues for your hands-on support.

To my wonderful Kindred Spirit sisters Gayle, Lana Wyatt and Wendy Gordon who gave Jim joy with impromptu concerts, candid moments, much love and thoughtfulness and in turn Jim showed us to never take for granted each day God has prepared for us. We pray you honour Jim by remembering his radiant smile in your heart.

God Bless you from his ever loving family,

Linda, Andrew, Amber, Rian, and Madison Pow
