Mary Shiels, 1927 - 2014
Mary Shiels passed away at Newhope Pioneer Lodge, Stoughton, SK on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the age of 86 years.
Mary is survived by her sons, Boyd (Pat) Rodgers and Dwight (Chenoa) Shiels; granddaughters, Laura Rodgers and Bethany Young; sister-in-law Doris Blackwell.
She was predeceased by her husband Ken Shiels; infant daughter Laura; parents, Nathan and Sarah Rodgers; brothers, Jack, Nathaniel, Bob, Bill, Tom, Jim and Dave; sister Sarah (Betty) Matthews and surrogate mother Mary Fraser.
A Funeral Service was held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace United Church, Stoughton, with Elizabeth Goodson officiating. Interment followed at the Handsworth Cemetery.
Those wishing to make donations in Mary's memory may do so directly to the Stoughton Ambulance or the Salvation Army.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
