Merton Cecil Bryant passed away in Carlyle nursing home on June 29, 2013, surrounded by his children. Merton is survived by his four children, Doug Bryant (Susan), Karen Bryant, Janet Badiuk (Delbert), and Dennis Bryant (Catharine), grandchildren, Kevin and Justin Bryant, Lauren and Nicholas Badiuk, and Riley Bryant, and sister Alma Longstaff (Sid). Merton was predeceased by his wife Madeleine, parents Cecil and Mary, and two brothers, Lloyd and Berton Bryant. Merton was born and raised on a farm in Carlyle Township, and took over the Bryant farm at the age of seventeen. Merton was laid rest in Morris Cemetery (Carlyle, SK) on Friday, July 5, 2013. He will always be loved, remembered, and missed by his family. Donations in Merton's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Units at Moose Mountain Lodge or Gainsborough Health Centre.
