William ( Bill) Eckert

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bill Eckert on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon, at the age of 90 years. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Vivian, Saskatoon, daughter, Sheryl, son in law, Patrick Doyle, granddaughter, Shae, all from Calgary, sister, Alyce Stockton, from Carlyle, Saskatchewan, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to celebrate Bill's life will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 1:30 at McClure United Church (4025 Taylor Street) Saskatoon. Family and friends are invited to attend. Bill loved his family, his friends and life. Bill was proud to celebrate his 90th birthday on December 13, 2013 and looked forward to many more celebrations. "I am an optimist.
