ESTEVAN - Music fans in the Estevan area were treated to a concert by one of Saskatchewan's top acts on Tuesday night.
Jake Vaadeland & The Sturgeon River Boys performed at the Estevan branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, to the delight of a sold-out crowd of roughly 250 spectators. The band played a wide variety of their bluegrass and 1950s rockabilly songs, showcasing their singing and instrumental talents.
Vaadeland has been nominated for six Saskatchewan Country Music Awards this year, the most for any musician.
Their concert was the final show of the 2023-24 season through the Estevan Arts Council's Estevan Concert Series.
