The individual who committed the assault was on conditions of no contact with the victim. After an investigation, the 38-year old Estevan man was located at a different residence in the city and arrested for assault and breaching court-ordered conditions. He was lodged in cells to attend court that day and speak to the charges.

In a related occurrence, when members located the 38-year-old man, they interrupted a domestic assault in progress involving two common-law partners. As a result, a 43-year old man was arrested for assault, was released on conditions of no contact with the victim, and ordered to attend Estevan Provincial Court in March 2025 to speak to the matter.

Police were dispatched to a Report Impaired Drivers call at a liquor store parking lot on Jan. 28. Members attended and spoke with the occupants of the vehicle. The female driver provided a breath sample with a result of zero.

The EPS received numerous calls regarding a suspicious female who was walking in the downtown core and was heard to be screaming. Members located her at a hotel and she was warned of her actions.

Police were dispatched to west Estevan for a report of someone setting off fireworks. Police located the individual and he was warned of his actions.

Members conducted a curfew check on a male and he did not present himself to the door as per his conditions. Charges are pending.
