SASKATCHEWAN — Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for parts of Saskatchewan just after 4 p.m. on Monday.
Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected in portions of southeast and central Saskatchewan.
The snowfall is expected to begin Monday evening and end Tuesday morning.
The heaviest snow will ease on Tuesday morning, but periods of light to moderate snow will continue through Tuesday night.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
