CARLYLE - Carlyle’s OneChurch held its annual fall kickoff service at Lions Park on Sunday.

The theme of this year’s program is We’re here to help.

Pastor Matt Redstone’s message was to honour values, prioritizing and focusing on the way people do things. OneChurch says it values community and is here to help take them to the next level.

A good crowd was in attendance with bouncy castles set up for the children and everyone had a barbecue lunch. On this day, the Redvers campus also attended the Carlyle service. Darren Grimes has lived in Redvers for eight years and is the pastor there.

Regular weekly services begin at 10 a.m. on Sept. 18 at both the Carlyle campus at 104 Sixth Street West and the Redvers campus at 63 Broadway Street. Their youth centre at 205 Railway Avenue West is also open Tuesdays to Fridays from 3-5 p.m. for afterschool drop-in sessions.

Students in Grades 7 to 12 are also invited to drop in from 6-10 p.m. Fridays. OneChurch also has family night every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Carlyle campus and youth centre. There is something for kids, teens and adults.

Pastors Redstone and Mitch Stiller are happy to call Carlyle their home and welcome all newcomers to the Carlyle campus, the Redvers campus and That Place on Railway.
