The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 17th annual Parade of Lights on Thursday, December 2 to give local businesses and organizations an opportunity to showcase themselves and get residents in the holiday spirit.
"The Chamber is always excited to do this as a way of kicking off the holiday season for everyone. Generally, we get around 30 floats and we would like to see that and more this year," said Chamber Manager Jeff Richards.
The parade will be launched at 7 p.m. from the Exhibition grounds. From there, it will travel throughout the downtown area.
Parade entries are asked to begin lining up at 6:15 p.m. at the Exhibition grounds and seek out a Chamber representative, whom will be clearly marked. The best float will receive a certificate.
Entry forms for the parade can be downloaded from the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce website or picked up at the Chamber office.
