Construction of Weyburn's new outdoor pool is almost complete, according to Director of Leisure Services Mathew Warren."We are waiting to get the stairs done for the twin slides and the diving boards have to be put up as well," said Warren.Warren said that the wet weather has put the landscaping slightly behind schedule, but plans are underway to begin laying sod and seeding immediately.According to Warren, the new pool will be completed in time for the July 1 Canada Day celebrations put on by the Leisure Centre. The new six-lane Junior Olympic-sized pool will include a zero-beach entry, tot pool with spray elements, twin speed slide and two diving boards.
