REGINA — A Regina man is facing three child pornography-related charges following an investigation by the provincial Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) that led to a residence search.

An investigation into the online accessing of child pornography through a cloud storage device led members of ICE to identify a residence in Regina.

A search warrant was executed on July 28, resulting in the discovery of child pornography at the location, leading to the arrest of 32-year-old Kevin Nordgulen. ICE officers also seized several electronic devices for further analysis.

Nordgulen has been charged with possession of child pornography, making available child pornography and accessing child pornography.

A Justice of the Peace has since released Nordgulen from the custody of the Regina Police Service, on numerous conditions.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit includes investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service and the Prince Albert Police service, who investigate crimes involving the abuse or exploitation of children on the Internet.
