REGINA — Regina police are seeking the public’s help regarding a reported sexual assault of a minor that occurred earlier in the week.
On Nov. 3 at around 7 p.m., police responded to a call at Candy Cane Park on Wascana Drive, where a 14-year-old girl was reportedly the victim of an assault.
“An unknown male has sexually assaulted the female in the park, and fled,” said a statement from the Regina Police Service.
The teen victim was transported to hospital by EMS following the arrival of police, who are now investigating the incident.
RPS said the suspect is described as a male wearing a hoodie, but no other details regarding the incident were provided.
