ASSINIBOIA - The first annual Memorial Golf Tournament was held June 17 at the Assiniboia Golf Club in honour of two of Assiniboia’s finest, Rob Greensides and Tim Dlouhy.
The day saw 42 golfers ready to try their luck at a “Hole in One” prize sponsored by Nelson GM. Although no one was successful in taking home the prize of a brand new golf cart, all the golfers had a great day sharing stories and memories of these two men.
The winner for the day was Tom Dodd of Whitewood shooting 76. Prizes were awarded to Mike Romanow, for closest to the pin (sponsored by Morhardt Plumbing and Heating) and to Blaine Schuweiler for Longest Putt (sponsored by Renau Bissonnette).
