And end-by-end look at the Draw 19 game between Canada's Brad Jacobs and Austria's Mathias Genner

Canada takes on Austria in Draw 19 at the World Men’s Curling Championship.

Seventh end: Canada has one touching back four foot and back eight foot at skips stones, Austria one top eight foot. Genner attempts tap runback but takes out own stone instead, Canada laying two. Jacobs draws back eight foot. Genner freezes to Canada rock touching four foot. Jacobs throws big weight hit, gets rid of Austria stone, Canada scores three. And once again, that’s an early finish.

Sixth end: Skips stones, Austria laying one back eight foot with Canada stones around house, Jacobs makes nice runback takeout to lay one top eight foot, one back eight foot, one side 12 foot. Genner comes in heavy on draw, slides to back 12 foot. Jacobs draws full four foot to lay four. Genner makes touch hit to sit in four foot and score one.

FIfth end: Alternate Tyler Tardi in for Ben Hebert, makes first appearance at Worlds. Tardi’s first two rocks are perfect draws into the house and he’s already curling 100 percent! End progresses, at skips stone Canada laying shot rock back four foot, Austria second shot edge four foot, Canada third shot back edge four foot frozen to Austria stone. Genner draws four foot. Jacobs takes out that stone to lay two back four foot and one top four foot. Genner draws and freezes to edge of Canada stone back four foot to lay one. Jacobs throws big weight hit and clears out couple of stones but leaves Austria biting button. Measurement, Canada scores one.

Fourth end: Skips stones, Canada lays one edge four foot, Austria in front of that rock top 12 foot. Jacobs chips out Austria rock, rolls full eight foot. Genner draws in to sit at edge of Canada rock in four foot but not frozen. Jacobs chips that rock out to lay three. Genner makes nice double to score one.

Third end: Canada sitting shot rock full four foot with Austria stones in front and behind at skips stones. Jacobs throws long guard. Genner makes nice tap draw, Austria sits two top four foot, Canada one side four foot and Austria one back four foot. Jacobs hits and sticks on take out on Austria rock at top of four foot. Genner tries raise take out but comes in too thin and spills out. Canada steals again.

Second end: Canada laying two touching back four foot and front eight foot at skips stones, Austria has one back eight foot. Jacobs removes Austria stone to lay three. Genner attempts freeze to Canada rock top eight foot but light and sit fourth shot. Jacobs draws full eight foot to lay four all around four foot. Genner comes up light on draw to four foot, Canada steals one, measure for two. Canada gets only one.

First end: Kennedy makes nice double to take out pair of Austria counters at back of house with first shot. End progresses, Genner tries to hit Canada stone at back of four foot, wrecks on guard. Jacobs draws behind cover to top eight foot. Genner hits takes out Canada rock in four foot and rolls to back edge 12 foot. Jacobs draw four foot for two.

It would be easy for Canada to relax a bit in their Friday afternoon draw against Austria, but we all know that won’t be the case.
