LOS ANGELES , Cal. - A California resident originally from Saskatchewan says her home burned down in the massive wildfires raging across Los Angeles.
Nadia Williamson says an image of her Pacific Palisades property showed that its chimney was the only thing still standing.
Williamson says she was able to grab her two cats before her home was destroyed and the whole area now looks like an apocalyptic war zone.
She says she's still in shock over the whole ordeal as she and her husband try to sort out their next steps, but says they plan to rebuild in the area.
Williamson moved to Los Angeles 10 years ago and expanded her bridal business, which continues to operate in Regina.
