ASSINIBOIA - ACHS had a bustling week. The high school opened its doors to the public for the first drama performance since 2014 and had several students attend a rural section track meet at Guthridge Field in Moose Jaw.
ACHS’s performance of Alice in Wonderland was a hit. This was the first drama performance in 10 years and the whole drama club is extremely grateful and honoured by the support from the Assiniboia community.
Donations raised from the performance will greatly aid in preparing for next year’s performances. The group performed five times between May 22 and May 25. The group performed three public shows as well as for the 7th Avenue School and AES, in the hopes it will encourage future students to join the club in the coming years.
There were 14 students from the track team who headed to Moose Jaw to compete in different events, totalling 43 individual entries.
