Another week has come and gone in the world of disc golf in the Parkland Association of Disc Golf region, and again it has been a busy week with many positive developments.

The Town of Preeceville鈥檚 planning committee has been busy with scheduling details for the Canada 150 celebration. The dates proposed for celebration is August 4 to 6, 2017.

A Touch of Class of-fers something different in complete hair care for the entire family, says Michelle Dodge, the own-er. The new hair salon is located one mile east of Preeceville .

Extravadance Studio of Canora presented it eighth annual concert to the theme of The Silver Screen. Shows were May 7 and May 8. For a few of the numbers, dancers performed only at one show.

Students at the Canora Junior Elementary School began their part in fundraising for the school鈥檚 new playground equipment last week.

Crossroads Credit Union, which donated $10,000, was one of major donors receiving official recognition for the new CT scanner at Yorkton Regional Health Centre on May 6.
