Every year the Good Spirit Teacher Association Equity Committee and Good Spirit School Division are partners for this program, she said.

“This is where we purchase a new book for every baby born in the Sunrise Health Region – That equals around 600 books!”

The book title purchased this year is Read Me a Book by Barbara Reid, said Heshka. The Good Spirit Teacher Association Equity Committee enlists a few student helpers to place stickers on and deliver all 600 books to the Sunrise Public Health offices.
