SASKATOON - Saskatoon Police have arrested and charged a woman following a report of sexual assault against a minor.
At around 11:45 p.m. on Dec. 8, police responded to the 300 block of Avenue U South for a report of a sexual assault in progress. Upon arrival, police learned that a 20-year-old woman had sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy prior to leaving the scene. She was located by police and arrested a short distance and time away from the location of the assault. The woman and the boy are believed to be known to one another.
Continued investigation resulted in the 20-year-old Saskatoon woman being charged with sexual interference and sexual assault; she was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
