From 10 a.m. yesterday to 10 a.m., March 28, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Division Operational Communications Centre received 80 traffic-related reports – including 38 of collisions— in the Saskatchewan RCMP jurisdiction.

Canora RCMP went to the home after receiving a complaint and learned a man had been assaulted and pepper sprayed by two men known to him.

On March 26 at approximately 11:45 a.m., officers from Saskatchewan RCMP’s North Battleford Crime Reduction Team, Police Dog Services and Turtleford Detachment identified a residence on 1 Ave. in Turtleford, connected to an ongoing investigation.

At approximately 1:20 p.m., March 27, patrol officers responded to an apartment building in the 300 block of Queen Street after a man was reportedly stabbed.

Parkland Ambulance attended and the woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

On March 26, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit and Drug Unit, conducted enforcement action in relation to a drug trafficking and firearms investigation.

On March 26 at approximately 6:50 p.m., police were called to the 600 block of 20th Street West for a weapons complaint involving a firearm.

This new regional headquarters will open in the fall of 2025 and will house an inspector and 10 marshals.

There will be lane restrictions in place for the next hour or two as the semi is removed.

On March 26 at approximately 2 a.m., Spiritwood RCMP received a report of an injured individual on a pathway on Pelican Lake First Nation.
