Veteran鈥檚 Week set
Veteran鈥檚 Week has been declared in Yorkton for Nov. 5-to-11. It was a unanimous decision by Yorkton Council after receiving the request from the General Alexander Rose Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.

The Rotary Club of Yorkton appeared before Yorkton Council Monday to request World Polio Day be declared in the city for Oct. 23. Local Rotary president Andrew Rae made the presentation noting polio means different things to different people.
