St. Michael's Parish annual meeting was held on March 10 at 6 p.m. at the Goodeve Community Centre. A luncheon was held first, proceeded by the annual meeting. Secretary position was opened - Mrs. Debbie Burak was nominated for the position.

A miscellaneous bridal shower for Robyn Brown was held at the Busy Bees on Sunday. Robyn thanked everyone for the lovely gifts and for coming out on such a stormy day. A delicious lunch and shower cake was served.

Pink Bootie congratulations go out to Grandma and Grandpa, Jeri-Lou (Smith) and Greg McKelvie, of Prince Albert, on the birth of a granddaughter, Eleanore Grace. She was born on Feb. 23 to their eldest daughter, Kate (McKelvie) and Casey Loseth.

Wellness Clinic is held the first Wednesday of the month, next clinic is April 3 at 2:00 p.m. Sympathy to the Holland family on the passing of Bud Holland in Saskatoon.

Well, February has been a busy month for the Calder School Students and Staff. First off, all the students and staff and family members motored down to Asessippi Ski Hill for a fun day of tubing, skiing, and snowboarding.

World Day of Prayer Service will be held at Bredenbury Knox United Church, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. Everyone Welcome.

The Goodeve Community Center held its regular monthly meeting on Jan. 14, 2013. They decided that there will be a supper and a dance on the evening of April 27, 2013. There will be more details to follow.

Leo Patrice Tremblay, born March 1, 1918 in the Qu'appelle Valley South of Dubuc, the sixth of nine children, passed away Nov. 26, 2012 in Smithers, BC. Leo grew up on a farm and attended a one-room school house.
