YORKTON - It was all about making the right moves as students at St. Paul’s School in the city took part in a chess tournament.
The tournament was held Thursday, June 2, involving Grade 5 – 8 students.
There were 18 participants from our chess club who had played since March on Wednesday and Friday each week.
The tournament winners included Reneil Recana capturing gold, Emmanuel Adefolarin took silver, and Paolo Ballado the bronze.
Judges for the event were Ryan Watling, Drew Federowich and Eugene Federowich.
