Election day 2011 in Saskatchewan will be one for the history books. It may also be the benchmark for a rather dramatic change in the political landscape of this province moving forward. The numbers are of course historic.

I guess it's official: winter has arrived. As optimistic as I am, I have a feeling that the snow is here to stay, don't you? No matter, we had a good season.

By the time you read this, the Saskatchewan election campaign will be over, which is a problem for those of us who still practice the black art of writing political columns in advance.
