OUTLOOK - A festival of all things related to the holidays opens in just a few days in a brand new event entitled "A Celebration of Christmas”, brought to the community by Equinox Theatre.

December 15-17 from 6-9 pm each evening the Outlook Civic Centre will be decked out in all things Christmas and the public is invited to come and take it all in. Christmas themed areas will put everyone in the holiday spirit.

In addition to decorations and lights, costumed characters will be part of the experience along with many opportunities for great family photos. There will also be a display of wreaths made by Equinox members and people from the community that will be offered as part of a silent auction, with all funds helping to build up resources for the theatre group's upcoming productions.

No tickets are needed for “A Celebration of Christmas”. Admission by freewill donation.

In the spring the community group will be further enhancing the arts scene when they bring in the popular tribute show "The Louisiana Hayride". The professional group will bring favorite entertainers to the stage such as Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Shania Twain, Patsy Cline, Buddy Holly, Marty Robbins and more.

The performance of "The Louisiana Hayride" in Outlook is one of just three stops in the province for the group as their popularity keeps them in demand across Western Canada. Equinox Theatre was so excited to be part of their schedule in 2020 but the concert was cancelled due to the pandemic. Getting back on the Hayride's touring schedule is quite a coup and so the excitement is building. Tickets are available at Outlook Printers.
