The YEA has been raising funds for the project for more than a year in order to replace the structure. The work was carried out over the early months of 2021, and the grandstand was open for events this summer including chuckwagon and chariot races, and tractor and truck pulls.
The presentation was made by Lions members to YEA manager Barb Woytas at the Gallagher Centre recently.
