Town of Preeceville residents have tough decision to make with three candidates for mayor and 11 candidates all vying for position on council on Nov. 13.

All-museum meeting held in Preeceville incorporates museums from across the local region including Canora, Kamsack, Yorkton and Pelly.

Students from Canora, Preeceville, Kamsack, Sturgis, and Norquay took part in an interactive 鈥淔ood Farm鈥� event hosted at Lindgren Seeds on Oct. 24.

Sturgis Community residents welcome the opportunity to voice their concerns through a heated election.

鈥淚 want [Canora鈥揚elly residents] to know how grateful I am for their support and how humbled I am by the overwhelming support that we received in this campaign,鈥� he said.

Members were asked to nominate a community group or non-profit organization raising funds for a project or program that impacts Crossroads Country for a chance to receive funding.

The Canora/Sturgis RCMP were dispatched on Oct. 13 to a structure fire in Canora. When police arrived, a neighbouring structure had also caught fire.
