YORKTON - The 19th Annual ‘Blue Collar Bull Sale’ was held Saturday, April 12 at Heartland Livestock in Yorkton.

The sale average was $11,517 on 55 bulls.

The high seller was Lot 2 Northern View Tremor 16M which sold for $35,000 to East Point Cattle Co. of Melville.

In addition, Lot 15 Northern View Super Duty 3M sold for $30,000 to South Shadow Angus of Robsart, Sask.

Lot 6 Northern View Cosmic Event 75M brought a bid of $24000 from Dan & Jackie Sawley of Fenwood, Sask.

Lot 3 Northern View Tremor 33M sold for $17,500 to Jeff Isaac of Carrot River, Sask.

Lot 28 Northern View Typhoon 69M saw a bid of $17, 000 from Mike & Jolene Warken of Kendal, Sask., as did Lot 36 Parkwood Tanker 1M from North River Ranch, Springside, Sask..

On the purebred heifer side of the sale six averaged $5,858.

Lot 64 – Parkwood Queen 11M was high seller at $8,400 selling to Crescent Creek Angus of Goodeve, Sask.

There were also 18 commercial replacement heifers on offer averaging $4,050.
