YORKTON - The motorcycles were flying Sunday at Millstone Raceway in Yorkton as the track held races which are part of the Saskatchewan Motosports Association series.
Racers from across the province took part in the day of racing which featured classes for all ages.
The raceway located on Highway #9, one mile north of Yorkton is operated by the non-profit Yorkton Motorcycle Motocross Club.
The races have been held for some 28 years.
Racing in the provincial series began May 5, in Saskatoon, with six race dates ahead of Yorkton. Still on the schedule is a two-day Alberta/Saskatchewan Shootout set for Lloydminster Aug. 22 and 25, and then in Swift Current Sept.7.
The SMA, a not-for-profit organization that promotes the sport of motocross throughout Saskatchewan, organizes the provincial motocross race series under the rules and regulations of Motorsports Racing Canada (MRC).
